(FRANKFORT, KY) – Members of the Kentucky Department of Education’s Commissioner’s Student Advisory Council gathered on February 25 to explore the significance of the inaugural statewide Agriculture Education Week, scheduled for March 17-21. This initiative aims to promote awareness and appreciation of agricultural education across the state.
During the meeting, students engaged in discussions about the importance of agriculture in Kentucky's economy and culture. They learned how agricultural education can empower young people with the skills and knowledge necessary for careers in farming, agribusiness, and related fields.
